• Is a 30-year resident of Stillwater.
• Is a 4th generation graduate of OSU.
• Served as the Senior Legislative Aid in Washington D.C. to former Congressman Wes Watkins.
• Is a community volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America, Payne County Historical Society, Rotary International, Stillwater Public Schools, and many others.
• Chosen to be a Rotary Exchange Student to Finland.
• Teaches Political Science at the Stillwater branch of Northern Oklahoma College and St. Gregory's.

Aaron Carlson Believes

• In government that makes sense.
• In increased funding for education at all levels including elementary, secondary, Career Tech and higher education
• Government should work to ensure better economic conditions for all Oklahomans.
• Oklahoma should have a specific state agency to assist its Senior Citizens.
• Oklahoma's health care crisis must be addressed.
• Officials at all levels must work together to assist veterans and their families and promote pride in the sacrifices our veterans have made.
